The new spa facilitates 8 luxurious treatment rooms, a beautiful Lavender Relaxation Lounge and offers all of our signature spa treatments. In addition to this we are broadening our horizons and introducing medical spa treatments and IPL Permanent Hair Removal.

Huge excitement at the Grand Arcade, Cambridge last weekend as the first ever ‘city’ Sanctuary Spa opened outside London! Crowds formed at the door and customers literally flooded into the beautiful ‘boutique style’ retail area as it opened.
Guests were treated to a glass of bubbly while enjoying tours of the facilities which include 5 treatment rooms, mani pedi stations and a gorgeously sumptuous Lavender Relaxation Lounge. Experts were on hand including the Sanctuary’s medical consultant Dr Elizabeth Wilkinson, and representatives from specialist skincare brands Carita and Environ.
Marketing activity was rife with Sanctuary Spa girls handing out flyers and treatment menus around the shopping centre and beyond while at the spa itself, guests enjoyed complimentary hand or skincare treatments plus mini makeovers courtesy of Bare Escentuals. The recently launched Sanctuary skincare range flew off the shelves at such a pace it blew all retail targets out the window!
This was a thrilling and significant weekend for The Sanctuary with the opening of the first of it’s national role out of Spa’s – with Richmond and Bristol following on late summer – early Autumn!
Grand Arcade, Cambridge
The Sanctuary, Covent Garden’s Group Spa Trainer, Karen Bevan appeared on ITV’s Loose Women this week tasked with applying the brands amazing Trim and Tone Body Wrap to a gorgeously toned male model!
As part of a week long ‘Beach Body Beautiful’ feature, Karen was invited on to the show to demonstrate how to lose up to 5cm with The Sanctuary Trim and Tone Body Wrap. Colleen Nolan and Sherrie Hewson were then tasked ‘generation game style’ with applying the wrap to a second male model and judged on their abilities!
Needless to say Colleen and Sherrie got very carried away applying the mud and would certainly need a lot more training before being let loose at The Sanctuary Spa! Quite a treat for Karen too with The Sanctuary being women-only!
All four of the Loose Women panel, Andrea McLean, Michelle Collins plus Colleen and Sherrie, were delighted to be presented with a gorgeous goody bag full of Sanctuary hero products including the Trim and Tone Wrap, Sanctuary Salt Scrub, new footcare and the new home facial skincare range.
