We go behind the scenes of the video shoot for our new Professional Trim & Tone Body Wrap. The idea of the video is to show ‘you’ how easy it is to use – and how to get the best results from this amazing ‘inch-loss’ treatment.
First, the Sanctuary marketing team spend hours pondering over the idea for the short film and a script. Can we make this informative enough to help people with their own wrap’s without making it too long and boring? Plus – we want a model who looks like they could benefit from the wrap – so not too skinny! We chose one of our very own therapists from the Spa, Carrie, who was more than happy to start her film career for The Sanctuary! So script written, camera crew chosen – we then found a house to film in.
On the day of the shoot, we walk the crew around the house to choose which bathroom we’re going to use for the filming.
Filming a basin has never been so exciting! Is the lighting right? Can we get it to smile just a little?
Question:
How many people can you cram into one bathroom?
Answer:
As many as you need!!
We have to select a pretty outfit for our model to wear while carrying out her treatment.
Our ‘Style Guru’ lays out the gorgeous undies she’s bought for Carrie to wear…
Let the filming begin; Carrie begins to unwrap her bandages… This could be the humble beginnings of a lucrative film career!
‘Creative Directors’ Emma Keyworth (Senior Marketing Manager) and Louise Perry (Senior Product Manager) with Art Director Nick watch all the action on the monitor. Every detail is scrutinised…but it really is so easy – Carrie gets it in one take!
‘Wish I had a TV like that in my bedroom!’
Louise Perry gives Carrie some super tips for spreading the clay evenly over her thighs. ‘It really is so simple, the clay is fairly soft so it just spreads like butter’
‘Gosh it spreads really easily and isn’t messy at all’ says our model Carrie.
Lunch Arrives – time for a deliciously welcome break. The team at The Sanctuary love this part of the day!
Having left the clay on for an hour, it’s now time for the shower scene to rinse off!!
Oh dear! Carrie has turned on the overhead shower instead of the hand held hose – and is slightly soaked…
Genevieve steps in with the hairdryer and saves the day! Camera man and Art Director Nick look on bemused…
Three ‘creative director’s’ at work…….but the action is ‘behind you’…!
Carrie is measuring her thighs for that final total cm loss…..the suspense builds…
