Healthy – It was really interesting – I have never experienced anything like it before.
“I really enjoyed this treatment – it was unlike anything else I had previously experienced. I particularly enjoyed the stomach massage as it resulted in a flatter tummy the following day!”
Closer – Having never had a shell treatment before I was both intrigued and nervous as to what the 'hot and cold sensation' would be like as it doesn't initially sound that relaxing! The Glacial Shells Detox Massage was in actual fact a beautiful treatment, relaxing, soothing and a fabulous feeling on the skin, certainly not the extreme of temperatures I expected. I even fell asleep at one point! I left feeling lighter, cleansed and certainly more chilled out. I would definitely recommend trying a run of treatments if you suffer from bloating, but even if you don't, it was luxurious way to spend 45 minutes.
Metro – I loved Lava Shells. It was a luxuriously invigorating treatment underpinned by persuasive holistic philosophies of emotional and physical well-being. The therapist was superb; skilled, sensitive, knowledgeable. I am seriously considering a course of sessions!

Incorporating a stunning vanity area, sparkling crystallized tiles and subtle light features, the newly-designed Rasul experience includes the provision of 100% natural muds for you to apply to your body and face. Renewing Rose Ritual
A revitalising and cleansing ritual to leave you fully refreshed , nourished and surrounded by the fragrant power of rose. The ritual begins with a full body exfoliation using rose mineral salts, before you are showered off and smothered in a warm relaxing layer of rich Moroccan lava clay mixed with a honey rose and ginger mask. This treatment creates a deep state of rest believed to be the equivalent of 3 hours sleep.
As a courtesy to all our guests, a prompt appointment schedule is adhered too. Treatments that begin late will still finish at the appointed time, so not to inconvenience other guests. Please allow plenty of time to get to your treatment waiting lounge where you can relax before the treatment ahead and where your therapist will come and greet you.
On completion of the treatment, your therapist will leave you to re-awaken to the world. Your therapist will then advise you on any homecare advice she believes will enhance the benefits of your treatment.
Sanctuary recommends guests who are pregnant or suffer from the following conditions do not have the Serenity Dreamtime Float treatment:
- High/Low Blood Pressure
- Epilepsy (if not controlled)
- Recent Fractures
- Recent Haemorrhage
- Contagious skin diseases
- Cancer and remission within 6 months
- Claustrophobia
- Severe skin conditions/Sensitive skin/eczema/dermatitis/ psoriasis in the active stage
- Pregnancy
- Recent surgery (6 months)
- Haemophilia
- Any recent injuries or accidents
- Avoid any areas with warts or moles
- Any Lymphatic disorders
- Tumours or unrecognised lumps
- Neuritis/neralgia
- Any Glandular disorders

Yummy Mummy
Only recommended between 13 and 28 weeks of pregnancy
A pampering top-to-toe treatment designed by our experts, specifically to look after your body both during and post-pregnancy, to leave your skin fully hydrated and supple. Combines a head, neck, shoulder and back massage with oils and creams to nourish the skin, concentrating on your bump and bust. The treatment also includes an invigorating cold stone massage to your leg and foot area to ease aches, pains and water retention, as well as facial massage to cool, calm and soothe.

Please note that if you are pregnant, this treatment is only recommended after your 1st Trimester and we will need a GP letter if you are in your 3rd Trimester.

- Anyone over 36 weeks pregnant
- Anyone under 12 weeks pregnant
- Amniotic leakage
- Bleeding
- High blood pressure (if not medicated)
- Severe headaches
- Any sort of cramping
- Varicose veins (if severe avoid all together, If not too severe work over very lightly)
- Epilepsy (if not medicated)
- All other contra-indications linked to massage
