Microdermabraison is a non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation using mechanical exfoliation without chemicals or lasers. The treatments offer a modern alternative to chemical and laser peels. It is a very versatile procedure that can be combined with other skin care treatments to help achieve desired results. The resurfacing procedure provides instant benefits by immediately restoring smoother, younger-looking skin and is perfect for treating the following conditions:

Chroma Oxy Ultimate Facial

This rewarding 5-in-1 facial with multiple benefits is suitable for all skin types and includes Microdermabrasion, Light Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Oxygen Infusion and Inhalation with a Hyaluronic Mask. The Microdermabrasion process provides deep exfoliation to resurface and brighten skin tone, whilst Lymphatic Drainage gets rid of the build-up of toxins that create puffiness and dark circles and works to stimulate circulation and blood flow. The Result: The Oxygen Infusion provides a skin-plumping action to regenerate and brighten skin, whilst the Light Therapy process helps to reduce the signs of ageing by providing regenerating benefits.   • Microdermabrasion will renew and resurface the skin
  • Includes extraction, oxygen inhalation, and a professional only hydrating hyaluronic mask.
    Please avoid heated and water facilities for at least two hours prior to the treatment and 48 hours after the treatment.
  • After the treatment an SPF15 or higher must be worn for 5 days.
  • Please avoid waxing, bleaching, threading and any form of depilatories for 48 hours after the treatment.

The Sanctuary Skin Spa recommends the guests who suffer from the following conditions do not have the Chroma Oxy Ultimate Facial:

  • Any abnormal conditions endemic to the patient
  • Warts, moles and burns
  • All questionable lesions of items of unknown origin
  • Active herpes simplex virus
  • Active acne or rosacea
  • Any steroid injection
  • Any breathing control disorder
  • Any fever
  • High carbon dioxide concentrate in blood
  • Active eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis
  • Diabetic/epileptic (acceptable if under medication)
  • Pregnancy.

Microdermabrasion Facial 25 minutes

This resurfacing and skin refining anti-ageing treatment provides deep mechanical exfoliation using small crystal spherical balls that are smoothed over the skin. The procedure begins with a cleanse and tone of the face and eyes followed by the exfoliation process, and finishes with an application of a cooling eye gel, youth serum and moisture lotion. A perfect lunchtime treat.

Microdermabrasion Facial 50 minutes

This follows the same procedure as the 25-minute Microdermabrasion Facial, but after the deep exfoliation, a soothing and hydrating gel mask is applied and left to penetrate into your skin for 10 minutes. Whilst the mask absorbs into the skin, the therapist carries out a relaxing head, neck and shoulder massage, leaving you feeling fully pampered. The Result: Our Microdermabrasion facials leave your skin smooth and bright, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment also helps to minimise pigmentation and scarring as well as improving skin texture and elasticity.
