Natural Herbal Peel Facials
Many skin problems are associated with an excessive build-up of dead skin cells. These make the skin thick and dull by clogging the pores. Skin peels can offer a revolutionary way to effectively treat ageing skin and acne, reducing sun damage and hyper-pigmentation. Most people combine their skin peels with Microdermabrasion for instant and effective results.
Green Peel Facial
(Price includes the follow-up Normalising Facial) This skin rejuvenation procedure was developed by Dr Schrammek and uses her own range of products, which are 100% natural with pure plant ingredients. It is a completely chemical-free treatment, providing an alternative to glycolic or acid skin peels. The procedure includes a purifying facial cleanse prior to the application of the skin peel compound, which is made up of natural enzymes, algae, herbs and minerals. The treatment continues over five days and includes an at-home after-peel product treatment for use during the four days that your skin is rested. On the fifth day, when your skin has fully peeled, you return to the Skin Spa for our Normalising Facial to rehydrate and brighten the skin.

As a courtesy to all our guests, a prompt appointment schedule is adhered to. Treatments that begin late will still finish at the appointed time, so not to inconvenience other guests. Please allow plenty of time to arrive at Skin Spa where you can relax with a fresh mint tea before your treatment allowing you to complete any necessary forms prior to your treatment.
On completion of your treatment, your therapist will offer you an advanced homecare and treatment plan.

The Sanctuary Skin Spa recommends the guests who suffer from the following conditions do not have the Green peel Facial:
- All skin diseases and disorders, bacterial infections, dermatitis
- Acne keratosis
- Allergies or Hyper sensitivity
- Thinning of the skin with telangiectasia and certain forms of rosacea and other similar dermatitis
- Skin alterations or lesions
- Naevi (recommended to see a dermatologist)
- Recent scar tissue.
All treatments are subject to completed medical questionnaire at the Skin Spa. If you have any questions or discover you have the above after making your booking, please call our Skin Spa team who will be happy to arrange alternative treatments if necessary.
Normalising Facial
(Price included in the Green Peel Facial £275) This is a relaxing and repairing facial, which uses the 100% natural Dr Schrammek products, to normalise and rehydrate your skin following the Green Peel and to remove any excess skin. It is a compulsory part of the Green Peel treatment process and must be done five days after the Green Peel Facial. The procedure includes a facial cleanse and the removal of excess skin using a soothing lotion. It also incorporates a massage to relax your body whilst the hydrating mask penetrates into your skin and finishes with the application of Bare Escentuals mineral make-up. The Result: The Green Peel and follow-up Normalising Facial help to reduce the signs of ageing by improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment has been proven to treat skin conditions, including acne, pigmentation and kerotosis, by leaving the skin with a renewed, smooth surface. We recommend you have this treatment 3-4 times per year for maximum results.
